The study of behaviour can be viewed in terms of various main disciplines. All disciplines have made an important contribution to the field of Organisational Behaviour. People in the organization can tilt either way toward growth or toward stagnation. The design of the system in which people work can significantly influence which way they go and how far. The more they tilt toward stagnation, the higher the probability of developing organization illness. And in general, the more they orient themselves toward growth, the better for organizational health. It provides very useful and highly powerful teaching and research material in the field of organizational behaviour for teachers, researchers and HRD managers.
