Lucy the Hotdog: Adventures at the Dog Park

Lucy the Hotdog: Adventures at the Dog Park is about a miniature dachshund named Lucy that gets picked on for the way she looks. The other dogs don't think that she can keep up because she has shorter legs than them.

Lucy challenges the lead dog, Princess, to a race to prove to her and all the other dogs wrong. This book is about how all dogs are the same in their own special way, and that no dog should be bullied because they may be different.
