It started in Brooklyn NY in a carpet shop. And the people that work there hit a big New York lottery.

The owner of the carpet shop had also wanted to go west and live. Now he thought with the money he made he could build a town of his own, and the other hadn’t thought about it, so he had a meeting with the other eleven and brought up his idea.

About building a small town together, they pick Arizona, as the place.

Three of them went out to see if they could find a place. They found what they were looking for and the rest followed. They built their homes and raised their children and made friends with the Indians in the area, some of the children were Indians.
