About the Book

Kelsey Somerset is a shy young girl just finishing high school who falls in love with her best friend's brother whom she has had a crush on forever. He is a young man in college who is destined to enter the pro-football world and he reciprocates her love.

Kelsey is catapulted through the turbulent times of the sixties and seventies - the assassinations of the Kennedys and Martin Luther King and the war in Vietnam with its aftermath on people. Through it all, she remains firm and steadfast in her love and endurance.
