Lips cold as ice
Flesh hard as steel
Hands white as rice
Can this be real?
Yesterday was filled with life
Today all is gone
Tomorrow sorrow will be rife
Eventually life goes on
Life is strong
Yet so fragile
Too late to right the wrong
The body is no longer agile
Now sit and ponder this
Are you prepared for that last kiss?
