About the Book

The protagonist of The Little Warrior is one Jill Mariner, a wealthy young lady who is engaged to a Minister of Parliament, Sir Derek Underhill.

The story follows her adventures through financial mishaps, an encounter with a parrot and a policeman, a stint as a chorus-girl, and finally, true love.
