About the Book

A Little Harmony Is All I Need is a book of stories, speeches, and essays which "I have written over the years." These writings delineate certain aspects of Allen's teaching career, which began in 1970.

Themes and Inspiration

The book also demonstrates a twin-emotional pull which Allen received from his teaching and his desire to write. Each one of these twin-endeavors gave him boundless joy and made him feel that he was living a purposeful life.
