The story began from the day she was born. The doctors told her parents she was fine, but over nine months of sickness and sleepless nights, they were wrong. They found out she had a serious heart defect, but they couldn't understand what was going on because she was not even supposed to be alive. But she was strong enough to fight for nine long months.

Nicole went through operation after operation to get her little heart fixed, but no matter what the doctors did, eventually something else would go wrong, and it was back to the hospital for her. Her lungs would get affected by her heart, and any germs would kill her. This is her story.
