About the Book

This book of verse is about the tumultuous journey called life. Some of the poems reflect the shadows that are capable of plunging one into a deep abyss of pain. It is easy to lose our way in the dark of Life's fiercest storms. The compulsions of fate make it impossible to see the silver lining. But Courage and Conviction shelter us through the worst.

Each step, difficult as it may be, moves us forward. Eventually, as the sun emerges from the storm, a survivor emerges, a victor is born! These poems are an ode to those feelings, which help us to overcome, to find the innate strength within, and to move on, towards freedom and liberation.
