About the Author's Experience

For several years I cared for my wife of over forty years, who was suffering with dementia. For much of that time and since her death I have grieved her loss.

Purpose of the Book

This book is about some of the lessons God has taught me and the insights He has given me during this season. I write from a personal perspective that is founded on Scripture and Christian experience.

Author's Perspective

Although I have served in ministry for decades, I don't write from a professional ministry perspective. My motive is to encourage and share these lessons and insights with Christians who are either providing care for a loved one or who are grieving the loss of a loved one.
