From the author of Bear Dog comes a short story of how the lives of two brothers, Lorry and Jule, change after they begin a hunt for predators invading their ranch. Their quests for justice and adventure drive them to pursue separate journeys which take them beyond the constraints of their land, and as they deal with the harsh realities of life outside the farm the two brothers become involved in circumstances which ultimately lead to murder.
