Characters in my book are real animals that we have seen on our ranch in Arizona.

Kirby is my dog, Callie is a wild Coyotey, Diddymuss is a wild desert squirrel, Henry is a wild horned owl who made a home in one of our tall pine trees, and Ponco is a family member's Chihuahua.
