Synopsis

Orchestral violinist Sebastian Martin is sacked by his orchestra for publicly ignoring the incompetent conductor, thus providing a brilliant solo.

His life is invaded by a psychotic fabulist young actress who thrives on a diet of mendacity.

Pyromaniacs like fire, kleptomaniacs like thieving . . . I live on lies. I can't live without acting. I simply can't. I'd die if I didn't have a lie to live out.

When Martin is accused of her murder, his life disintegrates in total chaos.
