Discovering that the forest where she lives just outside of is anything but typical, Brea comes to realize that fairy-tale creatures are not figments of the imagination.

The fay that had once been hidden to her begins to reveal themselves when they see something in her that she didn't realize. With all this weirdness of her normal life taking a flip into the world of the abnormal, she has also been plagued with dreams of a dark stranger.

When he just shows up in her room one night, she knows her world will never be the same.

As if things couldn't get worse, she is brought to the realization that this life isn't her first go around and must remember her past lives in order to save her current one. The darkness from her past life creeps in, and Brea is told she must destroy its hold on her world.
