About Klaudia Djuranic
Klaudia Djuranic was born on January 30th, 1944, in Crneloza, Pula, Croatia. Her parents are Ivan and Fumica Zec. She has siblings named Marija, Dema, Nada, and Nevija who are still living in Croatia, and two brothers, Luciano and August, who reside in Canada. Her Life and Challenges
Struggling to manage a career and raise children, Klaudia had to overcome various medical conditions throughout her life. Through adversity and strong will, she beat all odds and lived to the age of 62. She earned her R.N. and worked as a nurse at the Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, for 15 years. She had to take early retirement due to going on oxygen, but Klaudia did not sit idle for one moment.
Her Writing and Inspiration
She started to write a fictional biography about a young woman's journey from Croatia to Canada to make a better life for herself. Klaudia is a true example of a strong-willed and compassionate woman who fought through trials and tribulations to set a path for other young women to challenge themselves to choose their own destiny for the freedom of speech, independence, and self-worth.
