Reflection on Childhood and Memory

I have often wondered whether my tendency to travel back to my childhood memories is a regression or denial of change. In all honesty, I believe that there is a child in all of us who wants from time to time to be mothered and sheltered again.

I hope that as I walk through the pages of my life, you too will be stirred to remember those moments you cherish in your own life.

The book also portrays a dilemma of trying to fit in two different cultures, which propels the heart toward childhood memories.
