About the Book

This book shares a collection of poems I wrote fresh out of high school as a way to pinpoint my long transition from Refugee to Australian. It consists of four parts sharing my emotions and thought patterns along my journey and how they shape me today.

The book highlights the lessons and surrounding adversities faced during early migration and post-migration. Highlighted in this book through poetry is how the will of perseverance and faith can assist you in the darkest of times.

We all have unique journeys in life; however, life is not always an easy road. These poems encourage individuals to write their own story and walk their enlightenment amidst the adversities of life.
