Henry Fielding

Henry Fielding was an English writer and dramatist best known for his satirical wit. Fielding is also notable for helping to create London’s first police force. Fielding was a prolific author and some of his best known books, including Tom Jones, Joseph Andrews, and Shamela, are still widely read today.
