iOLab is re-imagining the idea of the physical lab. This revolutionary hardware software system from the authors Mats Selen and Tim Stelzer provides students with an accessible hand held data-gathering device. Free software controls the device, acquires and displays data in real time, and provides a suite of analysis and data manipulation features. Experiments using sensors such as a 3D accelerometer, 3D magnetometer, 3D gyroscope, a light intensity sensor and a microphone.
