Forestry Overview

Forestry is the science, skills and activities related to the human utilisation of the big plants called trees and the land on which they are growing. The science of forestry has elements that belong to the biological, physical, social, political and managerial sciences. Forestry is an important economic segment in various industrial countries.

Purpose of the Book

The present text is intended to give a broad overview of the various activities in forestry.
