Jim Dawson

Jim Dawson is a thirty year old widower with deep pockets. He's also a committed Christian who drives an eighteen wheeler for Wall Mart.

This time, his route is along Interstate 90 from Seattle to Boston and return. At each of his layovers he connects with a local church. He and its pastor then confront the issue of the day, anything from a nascent Mafia revival in Chicago to a group of troubled teenage drug addicts in Cleveland.

Jim considers himself to be a traveling evangelist and his guiding principle is simple but profound: What Would Jesus Do?
