The Tortoise and the Birds

The Tortoise and the Birds is based on the ancient folklore of Igboland. It follows the exploits of the cunning and greedy tortoise named Mbe.

Mbe was taken in by the birds but, instead of showing his gratitude for their help, had tried to outwit them instead. Mbe had literally tried to bite the finger that fed him!
