is a combination of tales of early Pueblo days and stories from 1929, when the book was first published. They were written by Frank Applegate, a New Mexican artist who lived among the Pueblos.

Contains beautiful illustrations from original Pueblo Indian paintings and a foreword by Witter Bynner.
