Synopsis

Samantha Leach is a successful young dope dealer on the rise. A few more years and she will be on top of the game. But when a close friend is kidnapped up in the tribal Badlands of northern Thailand, Sam has a big decision to make. Her money or her friend? Luckily, Sam is an all or nothing sort of girl. She recruits a hardened veteran throwing the dice on one last chance at redemption and they set sail on a rescue mission through the Malacca Straits, into Burma and up into the Golden Triangle. When they escape a hilltop paddy fortress with a lot more than they bargained for, Sam is soon out of her depth, out of control and on a headlong dash back to the top end of Australia and a reckoning that she just doesn’t see coming.

Story Details

In for a Pound is an action/adventure/crime story involving three main protagonists. Samantha Leach is a young woman on a mission to save her friend from kidnappers in the Golden Triangle. Ron Walker is an ex Special Forces soldier contracted by Samantha to assist with the rescue attempt. Stuart McCabe is a convicted criminal with an old score to settle with Samantha. Following the successful rescue of Samantha’s friend and McCabe’s escape from prison all of the characters converge on a remote beach in the Northern Territory for a final reckoning.
