Introduction
This book is an assembly of poems (word images) and pictures (visual images) used to illustrate the poems. So, I called it Images of Life.
My Poetry and Beliefs
My poetry is an attempt to express my worldview. First, of my life with Jesus Christ and what I think about society. Then, my experiences and my thoughts and perceptions of those experiences. I think beliefs make us who and what we are, and that our perception of our experience has as great an influence on us as the actual experience itself—perhaps greater.
Visual Inspiration
I have always been a visual person. I love taking pictures. I enjoy the art and science of photography. In this book I tried to create something that appeals to one's eye and mind. I wanted to write something thought-provoking—something that would have meaning.
Hopes for the Reader
My hope is that God will be glorified and that people will read and enjoy this book as much I enjoyed creating it. So, to those who will read this book, I express my hope that you enjoy it and that you gain from reading my book.
