If I Was A . . . is a book written for babies to preschool-age children. In its original form, it was a song written to teach kids about their self-worth and the realization that we are all made by a great and awesome God.

This book takes in the imaginary world of a young child looking at God's amazing creation and thinking what it would be like to be some of those things. It resolves with a strong statement to the child that he or she is the best of all created things because they are a child of God.
