About the Book

This book of poems reflects twenty-five years as an educator, of the people, places, and, most of all, the students that so changed my life. As my life unfolded around my students, I began to write poetry to ease my feeling of helplessness with each lost student. I could also join in with the many little successes of my students as they continued the journey of living and learning. I captured my feelings as I listened to the words as they fell from my pen and hoped that in some small way I have touched another soul.
