Book Synopsis

Terek and Alora have enough to worry about in their budding relationship, he being a human and she being a siriad (magical fey). Then an evil magician discovers a sapphire reservoir containing imprisoned magical souls, an artifact used hundreds of years earlier by a sorcerer to enslave the continent. He seizes the jewel and uses it to bend the will of those he wishes to control. Hungry for more power, he captures siriads, including Alora, and begins an ancient ritual to extract their magical souls and imprison them inside the gem. Can Terek rescue the one he loves? Even if he does, can they sew together the remnants of a long-dead alliance before the magician crushes all freedom-loving realms under his boot?
