Very few people are aware there were never more than 300 Special Forces (Green Berets) in that country on any given day. Much has been written of their exploits and their training but nothing has been written about day to day life for these men. Writers or the press are only with them for a few days or weeks at the most, therefore you never get the whole picture of these warriors' lives.

The Stories in This Book

The stories contained in this book are from the author's personal journals. The book is written as he saw and remembered each event or day and is a record of five years in the life of a senior Special Forces Sergeant as he and his team train, plan and travel around South America and other locations. It is a must for any soldier who might desire to join Special Forces, or has recently become one of the most awesome fighting forces in the world. For the average person or the family member of one of these men, it gives a real look inside of that exciting and dangerous life.
