Every day, as more and more people use antibiotics, new stronger strains of bacteria are produced. The downside of this is that there will come a time when nothing created from the laboratory will even react with bacteria due to the degree of resistance the bacteria have already acquired.

Impact on the Immune System

One of the most undesirable effects of antibiotics is that they disable the immune system. This is detrimental since other microorganisms and viruses, which lay dormant or are kept at bay by the immune system, could have a chance of populating or affecting the body.
