Introduction

I wrote this book for every parent who has had to watch their children suffer from any type of illness (especially cancer). When my son, Xavier, was diagnosed with cancer, I searched all over for books to help me throughout this journey, but I never found one. I cried silently, asking God to help me.

He laid it on my heart to write a book about the cries of a mother whose child had experienced the journey of being diagnosed with and receiving treatment for cancer. It is my prayer that this book will encourage those parents who may be experiencing similar situations.
