William Le Queux

William Le Queux was a hugely prolific writer, best-known for pioneering the genre of invasion literature. The Great War in England in 1897 (1894) - which depicts Britain being invaded by coalition forces led by France and Russia - was one of his two hugely successful novels, the other being The Invasion of 1910 (1906).
