About the Author
I was bought up in a little village in the heart of Devons glorious countryside and was encouraged to spend lots of time out in the fields, woods and streams. I was lucky to have seen lots of wildlife in the natural surroundings.
The Inspiration
Most of the stories have a truth to them, the surroundings and facts about the animals even though the stories are fictional. But as a fantastic teacher once said "education should be fun"; thanks Max.
My Storytelling Journey
I started telling stories to my son; he'd just give me an animal and off I would go. As he grew, I started writing them down so he could read them too and enjoy them when we were apart.
Sharing the Stories
Now I'm 46 and he's grown and flown. I have shared these stories with friends to read to their kids and have been told time after time to put them into print. So dear friends and to my mum and dad, here you go—see, I do listen.
My Hope for You
I hope your kids enjoy having them read whilst you bond or read them on their own, as much as I have over the years.
