Introduction

My book tells diff erent parts of things that occurred during my life. Somethings are interpreted, and other things are just thoughts. I guess you wouldsay I have a variety of diff erent situations, which would range from fi ction,nonfi ction, fantasies that I daydream about or imagine could happen oneday.

Poetry and Emotions

I use diff erent things in my poems to describe how my life is and was;some are happy, and some are unhappy. Th ere are several parts of my poemsthat in some ways describes my feelings of when my mother past away.

Personal Experiences

I alsoincluded my experiences of when I lived in the projects. I could have beenmore graphic about the things I came across with some of the people I saw andthe things they have done, but that might have been a little too much to handle.

Stories and Symbols

I also described one of my poems as a tiny monster with claws, beneath thefl oors. Th at creature was a large rat, and that was a true story. My family andI had no choice but to live in that house due to fi nancial problems, becauseit possibly would have hurt my career if I left.
