This guide examines GEAC's place in the automated libraries' market and describes the hardware and software products available. It serves as both an introduction to, and a description of, the products GEAC sell to libraries, which would be of interest to current users as well as prospective purchasers and students. An account of how the system is initially set up and run is followed by descriptions of the circulation, cataloguing, acquisitions and local information packages. Other chapters cover management information and communication with external networks. This guide represents the experiences of users of the systems.
