Plot Summary

A young man goes to college and falls in love with a "Runaway Princess" from Europe. Then he graduates and goes to grad school at the Space Academy seeking a career in "High Adventure". After graduation, he goes to space and fights in several battles against the evil Darmen invaders. Along the way, he finds out that he is a "Paladin" of the Speakers. Just who they are and what that actually means he does not yet know.
