The aim of this collection of articles is to furnish information and perspective on the main economic and political elements present in the making of Zimbabwe. Although the articles were prepared before the conclusion of the Lancaster House negotiations, they discuss matters which must be central to the future of this important newly independent state of Southern Africa.
