In this, his first book, he demonstrates his style of painting and takes the reader on a journey through the decades as he illustrates the finest ocean liners and cruise ships in his unique style. From 1890s Atlantic liners to modern-day cruise ships, he covers the entire world of passenger shipping.

Accompanying the paintings is an informative text telling the history of each vessel and how Harley came to paint it. Harley was commissioned to paint the signature picture of Queen Victoria, by Cunard, and this will be used in advertising for the ship all over the world.
