Provides the reader with words to stir insight and journal pages to encourage meditation and writing. This book of poetry includes five themed chapters capturing lively words of passion, sacrifice, and growth that will allow you, the reader, to experience an emotional journey with me.

Blank journal pages, entitled Veins of Inspiration, are inserted at the end of each chapter and include some of my very own quotes as well as my favorite quotes from biblical texts, inspirational leaders, and authors that will help readers analyze public issues, process private thoughts, and transcribe their feelings concerning life lessons.

The title Veins of Inspiration was inspired from the thought of a vein being a transporting vessel for blood to flow to the heart, consequently providing the heart with life. For this author, the essence of life is synonymous with a burst of light or inspiration.

So come on a journey with me, take one poem at a time, acknowledge the emotion it provokes, and then reflect on your own experiences. Enjoy!
