Macy Cahill is an enthusiastic teenager who felt like life was coming to an end when she lost the closest person to her—her best friend, Nathaniel Hale, a.k.a. Nate.

Losing him shattered her inside and out. Depression, distance, sorrow, and silence struck, and it brought nothing but pain to her and everyone around her.

Through her closest friends, Macy realized that this was just another obstacle weighing her down. It took time, but she finally realized that holding onto something that's not meant for her wasn’t going to bring anything but pain.
