In 1967

Andrew had just moved to Newport Beach to begin his junior year at California State College in Long Beach. By a chance meeting he met a high school English Teacher who intrigued him of tales of travel to the places of Earnest Hemingway. It was that influence that created the passion to not only go but to return against incredible odds.
