Inspired By True Events

Fourteen year old Nadia meets Tyler on the first day of high-school and is immediately smitten by him. As chance would have it, the two teens fall in love and before long Nadia becomes pregnant. Desperate to make it right, Nadia marries Tyler and the two young parents make a conscious effort to be responsible despite the challenges faced in adolescence. This story is told in the voice of a young girl struggling with the inner conflict of dealing with the heartbreaking reality of mental illness and domestic violence.
