Jenny and Calvin

Jenny and Calvin are not only next door neighbors, but they are best friends as well. They share many of the same interests and do almost everything together.

The Ladder and Buffy

When Calvin taught his dog, Buffy, to climb a ladder, Jenny suggested that they put the ladder next to the big oak tree with a place in the tree just big enough for Buffy. Once the dog was in the tree, they took the ladder away. Imagine the chaos that caused.

Supporting Each Other

Calvin was sympathetic when Jenny's Uncle Paul died. He was the one she shared her feelings with.

Adventures and Friendship

They plotted many adventures, and many adventures found them throughout the book. Some are dangerous and some are fun-filled. Whatever they did, they did together and took the blame together. They stayed best friends for many years, even after they went their separate ways.
