Philemon is a pastor in the Lutheran Church, and Evie is a teacher who has become a full-time artist.
The Turning Point
They are friends but have a serious argument on New Year's Day. Evie joins the crew of a tall ship sailing out of Port Adelaide, and eventually arrives in Italy.
Philemon's Journey
Philemon also becomes restless in his vocation and faces opposition in his congregation. He flies out to Kathmandu and travels to India.
