Late one rainy night in London

A bus is bombed; passengers are maimed and killed. What the police ultimately find leads them to murder, illegal arms sales, and defections from the provisional IRA. The reader finds himself drawn deeper and deeper into the tangled relationships of the "Provos." The clash of personalities amidst the ferment and contradictions of the IRA cause makes for absorbing reading.
