About the Book

The book is about the children of five families who are driven from their homes. They go on a journey through the Dark Forest to save their lives.

They encounter old family friends, who take them in and teach them to be soldiers and look after themselves so that one day they could return to take back what is theirs by right and blood.

Together these children fight and survive. It is also a life journey to them.
