Nano Engineering primarily involves study of the process of self-assembly at a nanoscale. Opportunities and challenges presented by contemporary science of nano-microscopy, nanoengineering & nano manipulation are presented. An overview of major applications and importance of nano-engineering is given in detail in this book.

The industrial and other applications of nano electromechanical systems have been described briefly.
