Kim receives the shock of her life when she learns that her mom got the promotion she’s been waiting for. Only the promotion is in Chicago, IL. Now Kim is forced to leave her hometown in Grand Rapids, MI, her best friend Jada, and the school that she has attended since kindergarten.
