Introduction

This book presents the papers given at the RILEM Seminar held at the Building Research Establishment, Garston, UK in October 1994.

The book provides an opportunity for researchers to review up-to-date progress towards the achievement of the objectives of the standardisation of laboratory techniques of sealants in the variety of service conditions to which they are exposed.
