Dr. Strong and Sweet Potatoes

is the first book of Dr. Strong's nutrition series for kids. Every parent has experienced a child who doesn't want to try certain vegetables. The author has experienced the same thing with his children and subsequently came up with Dr. Strong (a lion) who helps children to learn the benefits of eating their vegetables.

The author was able to convince his very reluctant children to try vegetables they had previously refused to eat by telling them Dr. Strong stories. The author also wishes to help pre-schoolers learn about basic nutrition so they can form healthy eating habits early.
